THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW BEFORE SUBMITTING AN APPLICATION:

 

The Kingsway-Lambton Charity Art Show & Sale occurs annually in the spring.


Approximately 800 people attend the event. About 30 artists will have the opportunity to exhibit. The show is marketed to over 3,500 individuals on a mailing list, throughout the community, and via various marketing channels.


There is no booth or entry fee, but a commission of 30% is owed on all sales (before tax if applicable) during the show and for the following 3-month period for any pieces sold to purchasers introduced to an exhibitor through this event and its advertising.
All net proceeds from this event will be distributed to local charities.


We handle the sales process for you. You complete a sales receipt and we process all cash, cheques, credit and debit payments.


Payments to artists for 70% of their sales (plus taxes collected on your behalf if applicable), with a full accounting statement, will be sent to you 2-3 weeks after the show closes.

We encourage you to bring a variety of sizes of art at differing price points and as many as your booth will accommodate.

​

Exhibitors will be provided with a space approximately 10’ by 10’, along with a table and chair. One easel is available upon request. You are responsible for bringing all other display and exhibiting material, lighting and electrical connections.

 

Booth set up can be done on the Friday afternoon before the show from 1 pm to 4 pm, and/or early on the day of the show beginning at 8 am.

Some volunteers will be available to carry your items for set-up and take-down, but you are strongly encouraged to bring your own helpers.

​

The Kingsway-Lambton Charity Art Show & Sale will support you with ongoing advertising and communication about the event. Also, you will be provided with a digital graphic that you can send to your network and followers.

​

You are responsible for obtaining and maintaining all appropriate insurance coverage.

​

Refreshments are provided on the day of the show but please bring your own lunch.
